We are 19 and we are
85.
We are brand new mothers and we are great grandmothers…
We are college students; we work, we stay at home, and we are retired.
We are Georgians, South Carolinians, Canadians, Hungarians, and
Yankees who saw the light!
We are accountants and artists…
We are bank tellers, beauty consultants, bookkeepers and business owners…
We are church musicians, clerks, computer analysts and counselors
We are dancers, data processors and dentists…
We are medical assistants and office managers…
We are nurses and nuns…
We are piano teachers, principals, project directors and PR specialists…
We are saleswomen, secretaries, social workers and stay-at-home moms…
We are teachers and we are technicians.
We are Air Force, Army
and Royal Dutch Navy.
In addition to English
and Southern, we speak American Sign Language,
Arabic, Dutch, Indonesian, French, German and Spanish.
We are middle
American, and we love to sing…
About half of us read music…
We all sing in the shower…
And some of us sing in our church choirs and local choral societies.
